the “Creams” of Innersense Organic Beauty

Wavy/Curly girls love a good curl cream! For me, a good curl cream feels smooth in my hands, and even smoother in my hair. It allows for maximum volume and lift. It doesn’t leave a crunchy texture in my hair once it’s dry, and it has lasting definition and shine. That’s just my personal preference, but since all wavy/curly girls are unique, so are our desires when it comes to hair products. That’s why I'm here to spill the tea on the ins and outs of all of Innersense’s styling creams.

I’ll start from the lightest to the heaviest, giving you all the creamy details for each product.

Sweet Spirit Leave-In Conditioner

This is the lightest of the bunch, providing NO hold. It comes in a spray bottle, so most people don’t think of it as a cream; but it’s made with a bit of honey and oil, so it’s gonna give you all the moisture a cream would. It’s nice and slippery, so grab this one for super fine hair that needs detangling on wash day. Tip: Follow it with a foam or gel for some hold.

How to use: Spray directly into wet or dry hair. Detangle and/or style as desired.

Serenity Smoothing Cream

This one is special because it provides heat protection, so grab this anytime you give yourself a smoothing blowout or use hot irons. Don’t just stop there though! This one can be used on wavy/curly styles too, since its ingredients provide moisture and frizz control. Because it’s still super lightweight, it’s perfect for fine curls that want some extra moisture without the hold.

How to use: Distribute a small amount in hands and awaken (rub in hands to wake up the ingredients). Apply in sections to wet hair. Blow dry, Diffuse, or Air Dry.

Quiet Calm Curl Control

My go-to cream, this one ticks all the boxes for me! It gives the perfect light hold, while allowing wavy/curly hair to expand for a soft finish. Shea butter makes this oh-so-creamy! It provides moisture, definition, and smoothing all in one…all while allowing for lots of volume. Tip: Cocktail it with a gel for a stronger hold that lasts throughout the week.

How to use: Distribute a small amount in hands and awaken (rub in hands to wake up the ingredients). Apply in sections to wet hair. Diffuse or Air Dry.

inner Peace Whipped Cream Texturizer

With a medium hold, this super thick cream is great for creating texture and separation. A tiny bit goes a very long way! It’s great for short cuts, like pixies, that call for more control. But this one can also be used for the ultimate frizz/humidity control in wavy/curly hair. Just be sure to apply it to wet hair to get the best result.

How to use: Distribute a tiny amount in wet hands and awaken (rub in hands to wake up the ingredients). Apply to wet hair in sections. Add more water to hands and re-awaken (this product will continue to come off your hands with more water), then apply. Repeat until all product is gone from hands. Diffuse or Air Dry.

With all the products on the market, I know it can be overwhelming when choosing what’s right for you. I hope this little guide helps make your decision a little easier! And a bit of advice from a professional…whatever you choose, HAVE FUN! Think of each styling product as a way to PLAY! Tip: For a really fun time, purchase the travel sizes in a few products and test them all out!

Wishing you all the best in your hair play! ✌🏼❤️
